We are excited to announce that we have a new school spirit store that has a ton of generic North Lake gear rather than sport specific gear. Many community members have asked for something like this and we thought it was a good idea!

This is going to be open year-round with sports attire added during each of the sports seasons. All of the items will be shipped directly to you.

The 1st round of Girls State Basketball will be held at NL school tomorrow, February 25, 2026. North Lake Cowgirls vs the Mohawk Mustangs.
Come support our Cowgirls! Doors to the gym open at 4:05 PM and game time is 5:00 PM. Ticket prices are $10 for everyone aged 19 and older and $6 for students aged 5 - 18. Because this is a state playoff game, everyone has to pay unless you have an OSAA Gold Card, OSAA VIP or Media Pass with photo ID. The QR code will take you to the Hometown ticketing site where you can pre pay for a digital ticket with your credit or debit card.

The North Lake School District Board of Education has launched their search for the district’s next superintendent. Selecting a new superintendent is one of the most important decisions the NLSD Board of Education can make. The Board is committed to finding the right leader for our community.

We need to hear from you. We want to know what you have valued about North Lake School District, what challenges a new superintendent will face, and the qualities you want to see in our next leader. We hope that you will take the time to complete the Confidential Survey on the Superintendent Search page on our website. The survey will close on January 13th at 8:00 am.

North Lake Student Council has organized a Christmas Movie Night and visit from Santa, next Thursday, December 11th in the main gym. The movie starts at 7:00 PM. Flyers with additional information will be sent home with elementary students.

The elementary students will be taking a short field trip to Silver Lake on Tuesday, December 16th to watch a production of "The Nutcracker" students will leave around 8:30 AM and will be back by lunch time around 11:00 AM . If you have any questions, or need to excuse your child from this activity, please message your child's teacher.

A reminder that this Friday, November 7, is not a school day. There will also be no school next Tuesday, November 11 because of the Veterans Day holiday. There is also no school next Friday, November 14.
