Dear North Lake Students, Parents, and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! We are excited to welcome our students and families back and look forward to another great year at North Lake.

The school year gets started with several important events. Fall Sports Parent Night is tonight August 12 at 7:00 p.m., with the first official high school fall sports practices beginning August 17. North Lake is now using FinalForms for online athletic registration. All student-athletes must have completed registration and a current sports physical before participating.

We will also welcome our graduating class of 2039 to Kindergarten Jump Start, August 17-20 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Transportation is not provided, but snacks will be provided.

We are excited to welcome Amy Skirvin as our new Superintendent. We invite parents, students, and community members to meet Mrs. Skirvin and share their thoughts about North Lake School District at one of the following community meet and greets:

• August 24 – Silver Lake Fire Station, 6:00 p.m.

• August 25 – Christmas Valley Booster Building, 6:00 p.m.

• August 26 – Fort Rock Grange, 6:00 p.m.

Students will return to school on a  Monday late start schedule, August 31. We will have two full days and a half day on Wednesday, September 2, before taking a long weekend for Labor Day and the Lake County Fair. Students will return to school on Wednesday, September 9.
