- Tuesday 10/15 Bright Future: Wear NEON!
- Wednesday 10/16 When I grow up: Dress as your future career!
- Thursday 10/17 Retirement: Wear your tropical, floral patterns to celebrate your hard work.
*Homecoming Door Decorating Contest
Our theme is ‘Traveling Through Time’. We have three athletic matchups that week. The volleyball team will be playing against Crosspoint whose mascot is the Warriors on Tuesday, October 19th. Then on Thursday, October 17, they will play against Gilchrist whose mascot is the Grizzlies and Central Christain Tigers. The football team will be playing against Elkton on Saturday the 19th. Their mascot is the Elks. Feel free to incorporate this information into your door design but it is fine if you go in a different direction.
*Doors must be finished by Thursday October 17 by 12 pm. This will give time for the doors to be judged and the winners to be announced at the homecoming assembly that Thursday afternoon, last period of the day.
Homecoming Assemblies (-Elementary is leaving early due to conferences)
- Wednesday 10/16- National Guard Obstacle Course Time TBD
- Thursday 10/17- 7th period Powder Puff Football 2-10 min rounds, Frozen shirts, Curling, Tug of War.
Homecoming Hustle (CV 1609)
This year we will have a CV 1609, a 1-mile fun run/walk sponsored by the North Lake Cross Country team. It will start at Floweree park in Christmas Valley at 9:15 am. Cost to participate is one donated can of food. Feel free to bring pets on a leash, strollers, etc.
Homecoming Parade
The parade will be at 10 am Saturday morning October 19th in downtown Christmas Valley. Meet up at the Credit union/bank location by 9:30 with your float and crew. Be ready to hand out lots of candy. After the parade, there are fall festival activities at the Christmas Valley Community Church to enjoy if so inclined, then head to North Lake for the football game at 2pm.
Homecoming Football Games
Homecoming football game vs Elkton at 2pm. At halftime we will present the court and announce King/Queen.
Homecoming Dance
There will be a homecoming dance for current HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY on Saturday, October 19th from 8-10pm Admission is $10 for singles, $15 for couples. Outside guests must have prior approval from the front office by Thursday October 17th and must still be attending a high school.
